Join Breathwork Guide KateLyn Beeckel and Soundworker Jim Doble at the quiet and serene Nurture Through Nature retreat center, nestled at the base of Pleasant Mountain, for four days devoted to reconnecting Body and Spirit.

KateLyn is the primary retreat leader and will be guiding all Breathwork sessions and workshops. Jim will be assisting with sound healing.

Learn how to clear yourself, blockages, patterns, and any dense or unhelpful energies that may be blocking or confusing your true self from being the captain of your ship (your life, choices, and the way you move through the world).

We will use Breathwork, Sound, Meditation, and other energy practices, to embody your Spirit.

This retreat is about:

  • Tuning into your Spirit and allowing your Spirit to guide you.
  • Feeling like you’re not alone anymore in life.
  • Being able to allow life to move through you and get into a flow state.
  • Feeling more alive.
  • Tuning into your body’s subtle energies to better understand the information coming through.
  • Feeling a sense of peace.

I’m not here to tell you who to be or what to do.

I’m here to guide you in uncovering the answers already inside of you.

This is not just a weekend retreat. It’s an embodiment with Spirit.

A chance to not just breathe, but to integrate.

A space to feel seen, heard, and truly understood.

We will use Breathwork, Sound, Meditation, and other energy practices, to embody your Spirit.

In order to do this, we must be in tune with ourselves, our inner world, and become still.

Glowing Testimonials

Here's what people love about working with KateLyn ...

Three words I would use to describe KateLyn:

Healer, Compassionate, Transforming

Breathwork with KateLyn has been a positive, transformatative experience for my life. When I started I was completely burned out and felt like a shell of a person. Each time I did a breathwork session, I experienced what I needed like releases, calm, tears, joy, gratitude, and so much more. It helped me get to a place where I could start healing, seeing possibilities, and living. It is hard to explain because it is a deeply personal experience and different at each session and for each person. The best thing you can do is try it! KateLyn intentionally curates an experience from the space, to the music, to the chocolate and of course the types of breath. You will be safe, supported, and guided through it all. What a gift to learn to use your own breath to change your life! I am grateful for KateLyn and how she shares her knowledge and gift.

Three words I would use to describe KateLyn:

Calming, knowlegeable, grounding

The breathworks retreat with Katelyn was excellent. The breathing sessions were invaluble in teaching me techniques to manage stress/increase relaxation. For me, it was also an added value when she delved into the science back benefits breathwork can provide. The faciltiy (nuture through nature) for where the session were held, provided a great backdrop for the retreat. Combining the gongs in the breathing sessions was also an excellent enhancement to the experience. I would highly recommend attending breathwork sessions with Katelyn. She is well schooled on the topic and practices what she preaches.

Sound Healing by Jim Doble

Jim has been sharing sound and vibration for health and well-being for over 35 years, both in his musical instrument making and through vibrational “medicine”.

Currently his passion is to help people free their full health and potential using sound and vibration as the catalyst. Jim uses a wide array of gongs, chimes, tuning forks and other instruments to help loosen up stuck patterns so that one’s natural inclination towards health and wholeness has room to grow.

jim 1

Jim works throughout Maine and beyond with both large groups, giving Sound Baths; and with individuals, for more concentrated focus. His philosophy around the work is that we are all capable of self healing, and sound and vibration are a great way to make space for that.

Complimenting  Breathwork with Soundwork feels like a beautiful synergy for inviting yet more potential for profound, positive life change.

Using the breath allows you to tap into a different kind of guidance.

That doesn’t come from thinking harder, but from a deeper knowing.

So many of us live from the mind, trying to control, plan, and figure everything out.

That works – until it doesn’t. Until we’re exhausted. Burnt out. Disconnected. Waking up feeling heavy, even dark.

If we would have been able to think our way out of it, we already would have.

An integral aspect of our time together will be meeting the parts of you that need attention.

In one of our deeper Breathwork journeys, we will intentionally invite forward the parts of you, patterns, old strategies, or other themes in your life that are calling your attention and may no longer serve you. Not to judge them. Not to force them away; but to understand them and transform them into what they need to be.

This work has ancient roots.

People have used breath, sound, and the Elements for centuries to access altered states and deeper wisdom.

When patterns or other parts become clear, they can dissolve.

And when they are ready to dissolve, breath becomes the alchemizer, working in perfect synergy with sound, visualization, and the Elements of the Earth.

This offering is a grounded, intentional space where you can experience your own Spirit directly and safely.

Over these days together, you will:

  • Experience immersive Breathwork Sessions
  • Work intentionally with parts of self, old patterns, strategies, and other life themes
  • Use sound and music as a bridge to experience deeper states
  • Spend time in nature reconnecting with the Elements
  • Share, reflect, and integrate in community

What truly sets these Breathwork sessions apart is the combination of the soundscapes with the breath patterns.

The music and breath patterns are intuitively woven together to work in synergy.

The music helps anchor you in the breath rhythm, while both the breath and the soundscape embody the energy and intention of each session. Paired with my signature guided meditations, each session becomes a transformative experience you won’t find anywhere else.

This retreat is about…
Allowing what arises to truly be seen.
To integrate.
To connect to yourself.
To connect to others.
To breathe together.

Every session is an invitation to return home to yourself. This is the gift of Breathwork. This retreat is a safe space to be yourself, express yourself, and truly surrender in order to receive whatever transformation you need.

All you have to do is show up, with an open heart, and let your breath guide you.

If you…

  • Wake up some days just feel heavy. Flat. Tired.
  • Have done the work. Therapy. Podcasts. Books. You understand your patterns intellectually. And yet – you still find yourself in the same loops. You ask “Why hasn’t this changed?”
  • React in ways you swore you wouldn’t. Overgiving. Overthinking. Overcontrolling.Or shutting down when it all feels like too much.
  • Feel disconnected. From yourself. From your dreams. From the version of you that you know is in there.
You’re trying to control everything and still not sure which way to turn.
  • Know you’re capable.
But some days you’re tired. Or lonely. Or quietly hopeless.
You want to love yourself –  and you know you do –  but some days it just doesn’t feel real.

And underneath all of that effort… you’re tired:

  • Tired of managing yourself.
  • Tired of carrying everything alone.
  • Tired of being the strong one.
  • Tired of pretending you’re not as sensitive as you actually are.

Maybe you’re craving something you can’t quite name.

Not another strategy.

Not another mindset shift.

But an experience.

Something that moves you out of your head and back into your body.

Something that helps you feel your Spirit again –  not as an idea, but as something real and alive inside you.

291A6623

There is a different way.

Not through forcing.

Not through controlling.

But through listening. Through breath. Through allowing.

Through breath, sound, movement, and the elements –  air, water, fire, and earth –  you’ll learn how to support yourself. How to respond to life instead of react to it. How to keep responding, responding, responding… without burning out.

If something stirred inside you while reading this…

This retreat is for you.

After these four days, you will feel:

Connected to your Spirit in a real, embodied way –  not as a concept, but as an integrated part of you that guides how you move through your life.

Rooted and steady in yourself –  like you can move through life without bracing, gripping, or second‑guessing every step.

Lighter from the patterns you’ve been carrying – with a deeper understanding of them and the felt experience of softening their hold and repatterning.

More alive and present in your body – able to feel and be aware of your emotions without being overtaken by them.

Supported, guided, and no longer alone in it all –  connected to your Spirit, rooted in the Earth, and grounded in practices that steady you when life feels uncertain.

Accommodations

You’ll be sleeping in cozy, eco‑friendly cabins or yurts, intentionally off‑grid and nestled into the mountainside – inviting you to fully unplug and settle into the quiet, falling asleep to the sound of wind moving through the trees.

Each space is warmed by a wood stove (with firewood provided and support from the owners if you need it), and softly lit by candles and lanterns. A small propane stove and basic cookware are available if you’d like to make coffee or tea before our morning gathering.

Accommodations are shared, and each guest will have their own bed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the retreat being held?

Breathe Your Spirit In will take place at Nurture Through Nature, an eco-retreat center in the beautiful forests of western Maine. Think off-grid, soul-soothing stillness – with the river, sauna, and trees as your backdrop.

What are the accommodations like?

You’ll stay in shared off-grid yurts and cabins nestled in the woods. Each one is cozy, simple, and immersed in nature.

This is part of what makes the retreat so special: you’ll truly unplug and return to your natural rhythm.

Please note: Accommodations are shared, and this is part of the experience – softening, connecting, and being in community.

What should I bring for sleeping?

Each bed will have a bottom sheet provided, and you’ll need to bring your own:

  • Sleeping bag or blankets
  • Pillow
  • Optional: extra blanket if you like to stay extra warm & cozy

This is part of the earthy, embodied feel of the weekend – think glamping, not luxury lodge.

Are there bathrooms on site?

Yes! There are composting toilets on site and access to a shower for washing up. This is a low-impact, eco-conscious space designed to support the land as much as it supports you.

Do I need prior Breathwork experience?

Not at all! Whether this is your first Breathwork session or your fiftieth, you are welcome. All practices will be guided with love & care and you’re welcome to opt out of any of the activities.

Is this retreat trauma-informed?

Yes. Everything from the Breathwork to the rituals to the way we gather is rooted in consent, safety, and nervous system awareness. You’ll be guided gently – and you’ll always have choice.

What if I have dietary needs?

We’ve got you. All meals will be lovingly prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients – and we can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. Just let us know in advance when you register.

Will there be free time?

Yes. There’s a beautiful rhythm of guided sessions and spaciousness built into the weekend. Time to wander, connect, journal, or just sit in silence.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many people do. This retreat is intentionally designed to help you feel safe, seen, and part of the circle – whether you come solo or with someone you love.

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is open to all genders, all identities, and all beings who are seeking reconnection, restoration, and deep inner work.

Whether you’re brand new to this kind of space or deeply on your path, you are welcome here.
This is a space of softness, truth, and radical permission – to show up exactly as you are.

I have more questions – who can I contact?
